I'm sure some of you have read some of my posts regarding my gambling addiction,not wanting to get gift cards(running out of money),begging for points,my gift in playing poker,and many other things.
Just when I think that I can't go any further--I play Bookmakers poker tournament for 2500---top 15 get freeplays.
I've been in the money on various occasions since I've discovered the poker site.I love it.I love it for the game and the opportunity to win money for playing and outsmarting 300-400 people.
When you see the name "will2survive"--that's my life's description--I'm trying to survive every demon,tragedy--any type of adversity that's been thrown my way.It makes me a stronger man.I'm one of those people who has" fire in his belly" and comes out fighting when my back's against the wall. "survival of the fitest is what life is all about(unless your born rich).
Back to the poker:there's no money in my account---last week--I came in 6th in the poker tournament and won $150.The part that bothered me is ,I had a chance to keep folding and get 3rd or 4th but I got a pair and some lucky sucker "sucked out"
----I won the freeroll play but eventually gave it to Bookmakers "crackwhore casino"
I'm down to my last 10 poker points and enter tonight--I figure I'll try--and probably lose---for 4 hours I battle opponent after opponent,trying to outwit them with the gift I was given in being a very good poker player.I started out to an early top 5 lead but due to two "suckouts" I was back to square one---after battling for 4 hours --I got in the money--I'm a survivor,thus the name will2survive. I folded AQ suited to have my opponent flash a 4,7 in my face
--when someone rubs my face in the cement--"it's on"!
I was in the bottom half of the final table and climbed up to 3rd place.I was thinking,I've got a shot here.Put me one on one with anyone and I'm confident.I don't give a damn how many chips they have. I got to the final 5 in 3rd position.
I was given a 9 9. That put me in a really tough spot(I HATE MID LEVEL CARDS).How could I fold it? It's crunchtime.Time to double up.If I lost,I could lose 2 positions or possibly more.I PUSHED THE ALL IN BUTTON--- you have to go out fighting(I've seen too many people give up in my life and that's not me(life analogy-sorry). The opponents card turn over and he has a q 10.I'm thinking that this chump called my all in after 4 hours with Garbage
.BUT...in my gut,I almost expected to lose because I've been kicked in the ass so many times.After the turn,I'm in complete control,I couldn't look at the computer--this meant 1st or2nd place if I win this hand.River comes up,and it's a 10
---the chump-"sucked out" like the undisciplined player that he was.I was crushed.I've gambled way more in the past but times are tough and you have to fight tooth and nail like an animal in this life.OUTSMART and OUTWIT---(I could have folded the 99 but I can't see any real legitimate player folding that hand in that situation.
I got 5th--My payout is a $200 freeplay for my 4 hours of work--It hurts because 1st is $725 and 2nd is $475--but I didn't come out empty handed.I've cashed twice in 2 weeks in a 400 player tournament and my poker ability is spectacular--I'm really proud of the fact that I can outsmart so many people.
The problem here is it's a freeplay---If you lose the game,you lose the 200 dollars.I just can't lose.I would rather win a 200 dollar freeplay than lose a 725 dollar one.
This is good therapy for me to express what I go through.I don't give a damn about the bashers.I love positive and helpful feedback.If I won the 725 dollar freeplay ,I was going to ask JJ GOLD who to pick
