Woods hit his tee shot on 3 in good position but sailed his wedge to 25 feet.
Tricky putt coming up for Tiger.

Tiger in trouble at #4.
Missed the green left, and then chipped well past the hole to 12 feet.
He has that left for par.

New name making a charge.
Ricky Barnes has moved ahead of the 5-under group to get to 6 under.
Barnes was the US Open runnerup last summer. He can play.

In case some of you didn't know---some guy is flying banners over Augusta all week....
One flying around right now got serious laughs from just about everyone...
It said "Sorry Tiger---we only have 18 holes here".

Tiger in more trouble on the par-3 6th.
He hangs it out to the right....hits the downslope and travels 70 feet away from the hole.
Tough tough 2 putt coming up.
Tiger still at 4 under.

More trouble for Tiger on 7.
Hit his drive in the right rough, is semi-blocked by a tree......may have to lay up, depends on the angle, but it isn't looking good.

4-under.
He is now on 8----where he made eagle yesterday.
An eagle here puts him in the lead.

Announcers noted.
Wind has calmed down.
The guys teeing it up shortly (Watson, Mickelson, Westwood)---they could go low again.
Warm weather coming now----better scoring conditions on 1-8 holes.

Tougher course today.
So, Tiger bombed his drive on 8.
He then air mailed his approach. He then had to hack it to 60 feet.
His birdie putt was short by 4 feet.
He made his par putt.
Big big swing on 8. It had been playing as a birdie hole, and Tiger managed a par.
Still 4-under.

Nice updates Martin.
Tiger seems to be doing well enough for my liking... it will ease up in the afternoon but I can't see anyone getting past -8 or so, so even if he finishes -4 to -6 he's in good shape.
Weir is just teeing off, I'd love to see him go low today and get in serious contention.

I agree.
I think it is just going to be one giant bottleneck at the top.
Mickelson may get to -8, or Westwood but I don't think anyone pulls too far away.
