    How much money?
Around how much money do you usually have to win from a sportsbook before they finally decide to stop taking bets from you or decide to start putting limits on your action?

Depends on the sportsbook and the amount you are betting. I don't think many of them have a set amount but rather take it on a case by case basis.
The only one I personally know of that deals pretty much on a fixed dollar amount is SIA, When you hit +$10K there, it almost always means you'll be shown the door.

Pinnacle, TheGreek, Cris/Bookmaker +others...You can win all the money you want and will probably never be asked to leave.

VIP don't seem to mind if you win slowly. If you bet just a few hundred per game and over time win a ton they don't seem to mind. But if your a new account holder (or start doing this) betting max bets only when they have soft lines and are on a nice win streak they will ask you to leave or slash your limits to near nothing quickly.

Obviously at exchanges like Betfair/Matchbook you can also win unlimited at with no worry.

At interwetten after I won 5 tennis matches in a row I was limited to $50 risk. Even if it was -1000 it was risk $50. I wasn't even winning with them yet when they did this to me as I lost my first 7 wagers with them. So the answer is it depends.

VIP never limited me, although some of the limits are quite low to begin with: $1000 NBA totals, $3000 MLB and NBA sides. They did eventually kick me out for complaining on these websites when it toook six weeks to get paid out.

I would agree with what's been stated in this thread. Like Prop said, there are some books that will pretty much let you play for life, or at least very many years.

Others (Bet365 & WagerWeb, in my experience) will basically show you the door in record time, or at least make your maximum bet size so ludicrous that you'll go to the door yourself.

10k is the posted limit at the book i bet , but they let you do more no problem , but they put you on hold to get approval......no biggie.

never had the chance to do that often , so i would not know if you do several bets in a row like that if they limit you , but i really think not.

It all depends on the book

Depends on how you win it too. If you are winning on large straight bets and you end up with a line that is better than the closing line you will be done pretty fast at most books. If you are just getting lucky and nailing parlays and overs then you can ride up over 6 figures pretty much everywhere.
