if the count is right, there are times when it is correct strategy to split 10's. so you do it, all the total squares at the table get upset. just have to play your own cards. surely not going to take any advice from the other players at the table.

I disagree. From my experience as a driver, people who conduct "rolling roadblocks" encourage road rage. A driver should pass the car and move to the right when clear to do so. In some states it is the law.
