I am in south beach miami for a week. Today was a beach day(parasailing). Friday is Marlins home opener. Can any locals give me advice on a must do thing here in Miami for tomorrow an off day for my wife and me.

Go 20 min North to Hollywood where I live and get a litte piece of Vegas while your down here at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They have clubs, bars huge casino and live shows .................... It's a must go.Comment -

Stay in South Beach and spend the day on Lincoln Rd (any taxi driver can take you there). It's in walking distance from Ocean Dr and Collins (the cross street is approximately 17th St).
Sushi Samba on Lincoln Rd has the best mojito you will have in your life.
Tons of shops, people watching. Pizza Rustica has excellent slices with a ton of variety. Your wife will like Lincoln Rd.
If you're there at night take a taxi to The Shore Club (it's a hotel) and have drinks in the back outside area.

Thanks for the suggestions. We ended up going to the sea aquarium. My wife loved it.
We had a great time at all the bars on and around Ocean Drive where our hotel is the last few days.
The lock I think we have been on lincoln road but we will take your suggestion for this evening. I run
in the mornings so ran all the way to the end of the walkway and back.

I visit South Florida frequently,very good suggestion, even if you don't play table games,slots, or poker the Hard Rock is still a fun place to visit. It is not just a casino it is an entertainment complex with great restaurants and nightclubs and bars. If you enjoy Italian food, for a great meal and a fun atmosphere I suggest Cafe Martorano just outside the casino, or if your in the mood for a steak, the steak house inside the casino is top notch.Originally posted by BeatTheJerk

We go to Europe for a couple of months each year. My work has been disrupted by 90% by taking cruise to get there...
Between having better things to do than stare at lines and many companies still classify me as in us even though
docked in Rotterdam. Will make up for it when at condo in Europe.Comment
