Guys, I only tell you this story because it is funny and 100% true. I do not want to offend anyone but it is a crazy story. My co-worker came into work yesterday and wanted to let us all know about something that happened to her brother over the weekend and wanted to tell us before we heard it from someone else. Here is what went down: Her brother John is about 25 years old and is mentally challenged but still maintains a life on his own in his own apartment. The other night the family went out for dinner and John told everyone that they needed to come over to his house b/c he caught a troll. of course no one believed him and they tried to tell him that trolls were not real but only in Fantasy land. He persisted but no one took him up on it. The next day, he called his sister (my co-worker) and told her to come over and see the troll. This time she ended up going over b/c she had to take something to him. When she walked into his apartment, all of the furniture was piled up against one side of the wall and a closet. She asked why it was like that and John said the troll tried to eat him so he tied him up in the closet. Not knowing what to think, she moved all of the furniture away from the wall and opened the door. You will not believe what she found in the closet. There was a midget tied up in the closet with tape over his mouth. Of course she freaked out and called the cops and they investigated the incident. Long story short, the midget was a door to door salesman and was in there for 2 days. The families agreed not to press charges b/c it would be in court forever based on John's condition. When she was telling the story, i wasn't sure if i should laugh or not but that's the funniest damn story i have ever heard. Like I said, I don't want to offend anyone but it was a crazy story that i felt should be passed along.

#6That is some pretty funny shit, but this is the time where you have to reconsider letting this guy live by himself. Locking people up in a closet for 2 days is pretty serious shit. His family needs to reconsider whatever the hell they are doing with him. He needs supervision. I would think the court system would step in here considering these recent eventsComment -

#15The Greatest Census Story Ever Told
Once upon a time, in the city of Nashville in the state of Tennessee in the country of the United States, there was a lady who had a son. Now, this son was very special. To use a Southern euphemism, he "ain't right" and perhaps may be a "few fries short of a Happy Meal" or something else to indicate that perhaps this kid is not "operating on all four cylinders."
One bright, sunny day, said son was at home alone. The mother, who loved her son very much, called the boy to check on him during the day. At this point, the son decides to share this fact with her:
Son: "Momma, guess what!"
Mother: "What son?"
Son: "I found me a troll, and I'm gonna keep him 'til he brings me a pot of gold!"
Now, I know this sounds like a fairy tale, but bear in mind that THIS IS A TRUE STORY. The mother, who thought the son was just using his very active imagination, humored him and said she'd call later on her way home from work.
The long, laborious work day had come to a close and the mother was on her way home from work. She calls her loving son and he again proceeds to tell her that he has captured a troll and is going to keep it until said troll brings him a pot of gold. Again, thinking the son was merely using his imagination, the woman was in no hurry to get home.
Upon arriving at the house, the son greets his mother with the troll story yet again, but adds an additional part:
Son: "Momma, I got me that troll locked up in my closet. He's sneaky, and I don't want him to get away until I get my pot of gold."
The mother was now a bit worried about what the son may have captured in his closet, and also about the possible mess that may be awaiting her in her future. She asks the son to show her his "troll" and enters his bedroom. Upon entering the bedroom, she sees the son's chest of drawers blocking the doors to his closet. "Curious" she thought, and asked the son to move the chest of drawers so that she could start the clean-up.
Son: "Momma, now you gotta be fast. That troll's quick, and he's sneaky. I want my pot of gold, and he's gonna try to get away."
Mother: "Okay, son. Just open the closet please."
When the boy moved the chest of drawers and opened the closet
A MIDGET SHOT OUT OF THE CLOSET AND RAN PAST THE MOTHER!!
Son: "MOMMA!! DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY! I WANT MY POT OF GOLD!"
It turns out that the dwarf/little person/midget was a census taker and had come by the home earlier in the day.

#16statnerds, this shows that maybe we really need to start educating our children more on factual things & less on mythical, or at least what's real & what isn't. That's crazy!Comment -
