So a day after and reading lots of articles, I get the feeling that the media is ranking the Duke-Butler game as one of the best if not the best in the history of title games.
Are you f-ing kidding me?
What's your take? I remember several that were better in my mind. KU-Memphis a couple years back. Indiana-Syracuse in the late 80s. Michigan-UNC in the early 1990s with the Chris Webber timeout call. I'd say in my lifetime, I can definitely rank last night's in the Top 10, but Top 5 might be a stretch even and certainly not close to the best. The media has driven this BS with their lame attempt of the David vs. Goliath angle. And I am just talking about the Championship Game itself, not the road any team took to get there .... whaddya got?
