one of my buddies can hook me up with a job at a collection agency, however i dont know if i want to work at a place like that. i have dealt with over the phone selling shit before and it was like the worst day of my life. this sounds like its 30 times worst chasing people who are broke as fuk for money. anyone?

#3My buddy worked there. He said it was pretty bad. You're calling people who owe money, so they are usually pathetic. So, whereas with market research you would be the pathetic one doing the calling, here you'd be calling pathetic people. Both are equally as depressing, but usually there is commission with Collection Agencies.Comment -

#4Depends on how you approach it. Before you take the job, ask if you can tail whoever there makes the most money. Watch what he does and talk to him to find out how he thinks. Then decide if you can do it.
Work makes you strong. It's a job that will teach you stuff you can take elsewhere.Comment -

#8Make sure you get a base pay plus commission, and then bring a weapon for your co-workers. "the scum of the earth work there" is what the last poster said. Usually real thugged out with lots of workplace threatening and wannabe gangster stuff.blog '09-'10: 37-16: +$31,900

#9There usually hourly plus commission, or walk out of the door. Sometimes they'll tell you it's hourly plus, then they straight up won't pay you for your time if it falls through. Selling dope or doing robberys is a way cleaner way to get paid. You'l be in less confrontations making cash on the streets.blog '09-'10: 37-16: +$31,900
