If you can back and draft the top 3 picks in the 2006 draft. What would the order be now.

    1. Texans
    2. Saints
    3. Titans

    Players

    Vince Young
    Mario Williams
    A.J Hawk
    Reggie Bush
    D' Brickashaw Ferguson

1.Young, 2.Bush, 3.Hawk. Ferguson is a bust so far, Mangold was a better pick for the Jets

          2. Bush
          3. ?? trade down, or take Cutler maybe - I don't know. I think the Titans needed a QB but don't think they would need the #3 pick to get one.

People would seriously still take bush in the top 5? He's clearly struggling at this level, of course he has speed but he can't make anybody miss. He looks like a bust considering what the expectations were. Anyway....

            1. Williams
            2. Hawk
            3. Young

Williams and young have clearly worked out for their teams, no reason to change anything. Considering the Saints' putrid defensive play and Bush's lackluster play A.J. Hawk would be much more helpful to them.

I still can't believe they couldn't trade down and address the offensive line. In a perfect world, they trade down and probably take D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Hell, they could've traded way down into the middle of Round 1 and taken Marcus McNeill and probably been better off. Mario Williams can still turn into a decent player and help them out, but they should've been able to cash that top pick for some quality return on both lines.
