    Bet against BUTLER next year
Mark my words, Butler will probably do no better than 5-15 ATS in their first 20 games next year.

I am not trying take anything away from their runner up finish this year, but now every Tom Dick and Harry will be wanting to bet Butler next year at any price.

These Bulldogs have only 1 senior (Veasley) who contributes anything. Next year their lines will be so overinflated because of this run that they will likely be laying 16-20 points per game in the Horizon League.

This team wins with great D, they dont win a lot of games by 20. But just watch, every Tom Dick and Harry Square will be breaking his neck to get down on Butler -18, like he is the only one who knows Butler made it to the championship game.

Its just like George Mason. They had that good run and even now every John Square bets them no matter what. These are the sam John Squares who couldnt even tell you George Mason's school name before the run, and would have never dreamed of laying -2 on George Mason. Now they will lay -10 in the same spot that they wouldnt have laid -2 because hey George Mason went to the final 4.

Butler will be the same way. Squares will bet their numbers up, and the linesmakers will inflate Butlers numbers to begin with.

Watch there will be tremendous value in fading Butler next year.

Its never a good idea to jump on the bandwagon. They are a good team, but they dont win games by 20 often.

Who thinks they are going to be 6 and 7 point favorites against the Horizon League next year after this public run to the championship game.

You want to lay 15-17 points per game on this team, you go right ahead. But you wont be getting them -6 or -7 too often in the Horizon League.

Remember those teams have seen this D before and no how to handle it a little anyway. During the tourney, it was the first time their opponents saw it. Not so in Horizon League play.

You want to lay the 16 and 17 points go right ahead. But I dont think you will like the results.

Exactly, and they were laying about half of what they will be laying next year.

And the same squares who wouldnt bet them -8 this year, will jump all over them -16 in the exact same spot.

After all, they were in the championship this year.
