I used to think that dice control was a complete scam too. And I'm still not totally convinced but even if you can avoid that seven-out for even one or two extra rolls then there is money to be made. I've seen some uncharacteristically long rolls from setters. Coincidence, perhaps?!?

With cash comps and/or other entities it can be lucrative and rewarding.

It is also an excellent way to deflect heat from winning at other +Ev games in the casino(blackjack, sports, video poker, etc, etc.)

20 years playing this game taught me a couple things. Yes dice mechanics exist they have since Jesus. I can manipulate to a point where I do better than 6:1 on sevens ratio.

Don't Come is much better than Don't Pass. Sevens can come in streaks. 7 out followed by a front line winner 7 is very common.

Never lay the odds you cut your edge over the house.
