I hate that word, I pay taxes each quarter. This last year I have paid more in taxes than the last 2 years combined. It's not such a bad thing in the big scheme of things though.

Illini, show some management and don't pay quarterly............pay the penalties and invest the money in heritage instead.

RELOADER, I'm with you buddy, except I keep eating $30 meals anyway...........

I have to pay each quarter, I have no choice. When you deal with State Funds and in the business I am in there is no way around it. I do things the right way.

Seems like they will want me to start making estimated quarterly payments now. Guess it will work out best in the end.

Hopefully I'll be back to the $30 meals after the 15th, Fish!

Depends what business you are in. I pay a lot of taxes each year but I also make good money. I have no complaints.

Should add that is was nearly $150 for TurboTax by the time I was done. $99 for "home and business" federal, another $40 for the state return (oh but I got $100 back from the state - thanks, Deval), and sales tax. Seems like the pricing is higher than it might have been for someone to do it in person!

Remember, for the individuals where one is able to pay estimated taxes, in MANY cases one can actually bypass paying estimated taxes ...................and the penalty for not doing such is very, very small.

Reload, one doesn't have to purchase this application.

By going to the TURBO TAX website everything is provided there automatically............and is much easier to use.

TURBO TAX has made doing my taxes 4x easier...........HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
