This is all about the ISPs getting their way on charging more for streaming content.

I don’t know what’s worse though, this or turn the internet into a govt regulated utility.

Net Neutrality has been a thing for a couple of years—anybody know of any drawbacks Net Neutrality has caused since it was passed in 2015?

YES, isp's proposing to charge you out the ass for fast-lane access, or depending who they are, slowing down your speeds to certain sites they either 1. weren't getting paid by or 2. objected to, such as unseemly internet gambling sites, offshore gambling sites, porn sites, and whatever else they may limit you from viewing on whatever whim or policy they may espouse.... or charge you a hefty premium for access to same.....

or they just want to own you, charge whatever they want, and block any content they want, without you having any recourse

how some people are ready to give up on their rights just because its party politics is beyond me

ISPs already do this. What do you think the different plans they have mean? 10mbs, 25mbs, 100 mb..they already offer different speeds. And they also throttle your speed back if you go over data limits.

Nothing changed between 2012 and 2016. Nothing will change now that it went back to the way it was. I paid $20 a month to Comcast back in 2010 for internet. That price is still $20. I can still watch whatever i want on the internet just as I did in 2010, 2015, 2016, and today.

Did you ignore my post? Nothing changed because this net neutrality law in 2015 stopped proposed ideas that were floating around.

And judging by your post I don't think you understand what this is about.

Correct. It does. In 2014, the C.E.O. of Netflix met with the C.E.O. of Comcast/Xfinity and also AT&T... some people don't realize it... but all 3 worked out a deal on the side. So, the Net Neutrality thing shouldn't become an issue for Netflix.

    Just saw this.

$20 for internet, that's crazy! Is that for 28K or 56K?

How many days does it take you to download an image?

Internet was working fine before 2015 so should be interesting to see how this changes things.. isps would be stupid to exploit their client base as this would open up competition
