I used to hang around a few small race tracks and got to know a few jockeys most of which had unusual ways and personalities.Some of these jockeys were fixtures at these tracks for decades and were proven winners.They still would get an agent who lined up rides for them giving them 10% of their hard earned take.I always thought it was comparable to having Pauley Walnuts from the Sopranos or some thug from Goodfellas getting paid protection money.hehe!
Then these bloodsucking lawyer agents dominated by one persuasion make 10% of a pro sports athlete's salary.Hmmmm,wouldn't it be better for the athlete to compare his statistics to another guy equal to him and just ask the team owner that's what he wants?Better yet,tell the owner you want 5% less and you still have another 5% for yourself that didn't pay agent fees and you make out better than the other jock that's your equal.
I hate this day and age in sports where you hate the team owner for getting stadium welfare,you hate the union mentality athletes and you hate the bloodsucking agents.If it weren't for betting I would not watch sports on t.v.
