Are Bad lines a sign of a Bad Book???
I wanted to try a New Book with a decent Bonus. I tried BETED.com with a 50% bonus on your first win. Won my first bet and got the bonus the next day.

I met the rollover Sunday after a week there. I was going to cash out some to test the book. Then the lines came out for NFL........Green Bay -3......I couldn't help myself considering I could get GB at -120 Moneyline at Matchbook. Then today it's Green Bay -3 1/2. There goes the rest of my balance on Minn +3 1/2 and I get a better line at Matchbook at -118 Money line on GB.

Come on, Do they get most of their coustomers out of Wisconsin? MB -1 1/2, Greek - 1 1/2, BookMaker -2. I want Greenbay to win because this accually makes me worry about being able to cash out when your first line is off then you move it even more off!!!!

Not sure about the GB game but generally speaking lines that are off are an indication of one of two things and at times both. 1) Poor talent at the bookmaking helm and poor management scheduling too little monitoring of the bookmaking helm. 2) Too low of volume

or 3) A deliberate attempt to attract capital, because if you know you are going bankrupt soon, it doesnt matter if you go bankrupt owing 1 million or 5 million. So you might as well take a chance and hope you get lucky.

This book is garbage, but it does seem like a square book...

Possibly a very square book (like SIA)

rating is on the rise up to B-, and the lines have always been like this.

3.5 is kind of shocking to me, but there are completely a square books and do this stuff a lot.
Bodog has +3 but its shaded right now.

I doubt you'll have a problem getting paid at that line. Afterall they moved it from +3 to +3.5 and its close enough to what others are offering - hard to think they made a mistake twice.

Also not to mention all the square books will probably have Minny +3 or +3.5 around game time anyways.

GOlden Gophers +27.5 is actually the most shaded, 3.5 or 4 points. They are really against Minnesota at this book

Nobody mentioned option 4) Post bad lines, action the losers and no-action the winners.

Win-win for the book until the word gets out on their scam.

The Minnesota players think this is a great book.

BetEd is more recreational and conservative than Bodog. They have spent a lot of money in marketing and kept bonuses low. That line should be fine.
