Hollywood Reporter: ESPN to drop NFL?

WOW, a great article if you can look it up outlines the rational thought behind ESPN dropping the NFL and some moves made already to smooth the way for that.

Makes sense given their recent decision to drop bowl games.

They could start by dropping ESPN News, ESPN Classic... no one really gives a sh#$ anymore. Turn it into a Home Shopping Channel.

Jessica Mendoza and jemele hill were the final straw for me.

They laid off several major league veterans to have a pucking softball player lecture me about baseball. gtfo

I've never liked Monday Night Football on ESPN.

    It just doesn't feel right.

Agree. I know it's been like 10 years now, but I still find myself turning on ABC once in a while for the game.

I have said several times here that Espn will be irrelevant in 10 years and not carry any major sports. Turns out it may be closer to 5.

really only watch ath and the late sports center with neil everett maybe svp but most of espn has gone to shet, especially that 6pm disaster totally backfired on espn plus over paying for all the sports deals espn is fading fast
