    What is the probability of picking the right pick with this method?
    You assign numbers to all games available every night (lets assume 20 games in all NBA, NHL, NCAA). Then you do a raffle and pick one game. Then you flip a coin and pick a side. Is the probability to win still 50%?

    i would expect very long term to get around near 50%

    but that is based on a belief that efficiency rules all the markets mentioned. additionally you might hit a stretch of more favs covering or vice versa. so if you did this everyday for 3 years, i would expect something within an acceptable range of 50%.

      If you did it, you'll probably end up around 50% (within the margin of error) now on the other hand if I did it, i would probably end up somewhere around 30%.
