Going To Install 100 Ft WiFi Pole On Roof..............
Charge $15 a month for INTERNET connection , I think I should be able to grab at least 500 houses in area and if I can get 100 to subscribe I can make $1500 a month clear cash.
Pole might cost about $800

And 100 ft is 10 storeys. So your pole will be 10 times taller than your house. And if you don't ground it it will become a giant lightning rod setting your house on fire in a storm if the wind doesn't topple it over.

To be able to resist the wind it has to be at least 2 feet wide at the base. So your roof will probably collapse from its weight if you can afford the 100K to buy it.

A T1 line might cost between $1,000 and $1,500 per month depending on who provides it and where it goes. I dont see anyone hosting 100 people off a dsl. GL tho

Dude I do this for a living. You can't put a 100 ft pole on the roof of a house.

Just plant it in the yard & run a flag up it. You can steal internet from everyone in a 20 mile radius. Hack into their unsecured files & folders & get pictures of them & photoshop them for blackmail purposes. I see alot of potential here jj!

I see another problem with this solution. He was to bury the pole 30 feet in the ground. The cost to rent an auger to drill the 4' round hole in the ground and then filling it with concrete will be significant.
