I say DLP is the best in my opinion. If not DLP I would go for plasma.

DLP.......the only thing I know about it is what the TV ads give me. "It's the mirrors." "Tons of tiny mirrors make it better." They had that sh1t on three times tonight on MNFB.

Yeah.....thats nice. How much you want us to pay for that? Can I even tell the difference from "regular" HD. Probably not.

u cant mount a dlp on ur wall and it takes too much space for me. I like my monitors sleek. And bitches like the look way better.

Im leaning toward the Sony LCD.

I have a Sony 46" 1080P flat panel LCD. Very nice and the picture is great.

Plasma bro, HDTV, and there is NO COMPARISON AT ALL to standard def football or any other programming to HDTV. HDTV is simply the way of the future and looks insanely good!

We've discussed this before.. Plasma gives you a better contrast ratio then LCD... DLP means Digital Light Processing... I say NEITHER and as many of you know I think LED is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar surperior to anything you have seen PERIOD!!

Most of you have somewhere between 1,000 and 10,000 to 1 contrast ratio (the differance between blacks and whites the higher the better)... I believe there is now an LED that has ONE MILLION TO ONE.... ONE MILLION PEOPLE... I went to see one and it looks better then real life... A friend of mine is in S. Korea and Samsung is in his city... He says they have a prototype TRUE 3D TV with no glasses... It should be out soon...

HD 3D..? Oh man it would BLOW AWAY anything anyone has now....

BTW if anyone is looking to buy a Tv I strongly suggest looking at an LED in your local store.. Also this poll should be adjusted.. The way it is now it's like saying which is better.. a female ... a black female... a white female ....or other....

It use to be plasma but LCD technology caught up with plasma picture wise and LCD has no motion blur if you get one with 5ms or less response time. Now they are really both excellent on the eyes. You can't go wrong with either, I just like the LCD a little bit better than plasma but its close.

Even though LCD has made leaps and bounds, I still like the wider viewing angle from my plasma. Even with today's LCD's, I still find the best seat is dead center, whereas with my Samsung plasma every seat in the living room is equally good.
