Vital Discipline Thread

Not sure if anyone cares or not, but I started a thread about a week ago speaking to my lack of discipline lately, and trying to decide what to buy with some SBR points. The biggest culprit in my losses has been those damned online casinos, when you're starving for action at 11:30 at night and you lose your whole effing bankroll in them. I wish I could block my computer from those.

Anyhow, I've been using the SBR book to hedge and middle my cash wagers for the past month or so, and between that and BJ's "how to beat the casino post" (found here: http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...br-casino.html), I ran my points total to over 900 last week, and bought $100 in sportsbook cash from BetPhoenix.

So in this thread, my intention is to post my plays, to try to teach myself some discipline and patience, and try to roll this $100 FP into at least a hundred or two to withdraw, if not more. I went with the cash over freeplay because I thought it would be easier to manage than a freeplay, and I only have to roll it 8x.

So if anyone cares, maybe I'll run a little hot, feel free to tail, fade, or ignore me!

just leave the money casinos & sbr casinos alone. It doesn't take discipline, just common fukin sense. When anyone makes threads like these I lose a ton of respect for them & write them off from ever being smart in sports gambling. Even if you're sharp enough to beat the man, that will go too if you're not smart enough to stay away from rigged video games to try & make a buck. Pure greed is never a good thing

You are correct, but that is not to say that one could not learn from the error of their previous ways. I truly believe I will never set "foot" inside another online casino. It is ridiculously rigged.

vital, are these the ONLY two wagers you've made? your rollover is 20 and not 20.90

for counting the rollover always use the small number of the risk/win numbers.....

I actually did wager $10.90 to win $10 on the soccer play... I believe thats the number counted towards the roll, the amount risked...

at betphoenix they always count the lower number of the bet

so if you bet 5 to win 40 on a +800 bet... 5 is counted towards the rollover


if you bet 40 to win 5 on a -800 bet.... 5 is counted towards the rollover....

Go all in every game taking low odds plays, 5-10 wins you'll be up 500-1000 then withdraw, can be done in a few days. Keep repeating this process, remember to always have an attainable target and withdraw when you hit it then start again. Its not as hard as it looks to hit a 5-10 streak without having to bet on ridiculously low odds, just keep the discipline, some days don't play anything.

was waiting on 9am for the free 5dimes monday payout

was playing a little blackjack at around 8:55

was just making $1 dollar wagers. started martingaling a little bit...

i told myself, "stop playing at 9 am and cash out your 2k.

but i made one last bet at 9am, for $50. it lost. then i bet again and it lost.

pretty soon i was betting $200 a hand in blackjack, and i was down to $600 from 2100.

i ended up splitting a pair, and then doubling after the split with pretty much everything on the line, and won to get it back to $2000

i then bet another 200

got it up to 2425 on a double. X'ed out of the m'fer so fast it wasn't funny i then cashed out. man i was so close to losing it all unreal

Holy crap nice job. I did the same thing at a book, i couldnt dig out because the cap was $100 a hand. You just absolutely cannot martingale the online casinos. Its unwinnable. You may make a dollar here and there but in the end it will MURDER you.

Good time to martingale baltimore here. They finish their 7th game out of the first 10 against the rays, they are valued here. Should they lose, they travel to oakland where they will be + money at least 2 of the 3 games, then its off to seattle for more of the same. So even if im not profitable, it will help me with my roll. Personally I see them winning 4 of the next six games or so.....
