Has anyone just got up and moved out of state just because?With no job lined up or family there or anything? I am seriously thinking about moving. I have lived in California all of my life born and raised, even went and graduated college in Ca too.

Been to Denver a couple years back and just love it there. Lots of sports(nugs,avalanche and rockies) weather is great and gets all 4 seasons and people are outgoing and outdoorys( i know, not a word)

So has anyone?

How did you manage financially? That is pretty much the situation i am in right now. I just want to get out of here, all my friends and family are here but i just need a change and i love the big city atmosphere. My girl also would follow me where ever i went most likely.

Ya i agree and i want to . I have no commitment at all right now but just scary thinking about moving somewhere without a job. I'd really like to hear other peoples opinion.

Left England and moved to Oklahoma about 9-10 years ago ... to be with at the time girlfriend/now wife .... I had nothing when I got here .... just do it - what's the worst that can happen ? You don't like it - so you move back - what have you lost apart from a few weeks/months ? You will regret it forever if you don't do it wondering " .. what if ... "

All I can lend to this is don't end up where so many of us do, living the rest of our lives with regrets. If you are young and you don't have the commitments to anyone or thing but yourself go and do what your heart is telling you to do. You don't want to be 40+ years of age and have obligations and a life that while is ok is not the life you had wished for.

We only have one life to live and the smart ones live their lives experiencing it. The window will probably close and the obligations will mount so live it to the hilt while there is time.
