#2Terrible news. I receive and send out a lot of packages. If it happens, I will just have to use Fedex and UPS. Either way things will still be received and sent regardless of the company.המוסד

#4Yeah this has been in the works for some time. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets shot down again though. We really need to cut back/get rid of the post office, thing is a serious waste of space/money/time.Comment -

#5This has it's pro's and cons. Pro's USPS will save 3 billion but really who does that help lol. Workers only have to work M-F and have the weekends free, their salary is pretty decent. Cons that's 1 less day the people receive our mail. And some don't like waiting another extra day especially those who have Netflix. ;D Some workiers might need that extra day moneywise but I doubt it. And the worst 40,000 jobs LOST...Bet To WinComment -

#12Hurry up and do it already. Who needs Saturday delivery anyway? If you really want mail that bad on Saturday pay a steep premium like UPS charges. You find out you really didn't need it that bad and wait until Monday.Comment -

#17One less day for the workers to go "postal". My friend, who works for the USPS, and I were talking recently and even he said that they are over paid for what they do considering no education is necessary to work there. Great benefits, pension and health insurance for life. I am happy to hear this, our country needs to start acting like the broke fukks we are and stop living off the hard work and sacrifices of our ancestors.Comment -

#1940,000 additional unemployed represents an increase in the unemployment rate from 10% to 10.129% not a giant increase. These people are overpayed and underworked. Cut services please and cut my taxes while you are at it.Comment -

The problem is all these old ass fuks that don't know when to retire. So many jobs are being held by people that don't need them. I'm talking about 65-85 years old. Fukers are losing money by still working. The PO just offered an early retirement package late last year of $15,000. There should be more coming and hopefully these old heads will jump on it.Comment -

#29Dear SBR morons:
FED-EX delivers the majority of the USPS Express Mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and yes, the USPS sucks that bad. so when you see them running ads about their priority shipping, they outsource that shit to Fedex but take credit for the only portion of their operation that isn't shit...

The one thing I can say about the Postal Service is that at least this is something we all benefit from, unlike certain dpartments that only help those with a hand out.Comment -
