SBR Book charges a fee?????

I was just charged a point for a transaction fee. I moved 7 points from my bank into the SBR book, then I looked later and I was charged a point for that????? What's the deal?

It's not supposed to charge you for transferring into the book though, only for poster to poster transfers.

I still dont understand how the fee works. He said for a 7 point transfer? and if it was to put mex out of business & draw more to the house book why would they charge for moving your own points to the book???

I could be wrong here but, on the 26th you got 25 points and 75 more today (various times - 2:45pm, 4:23pm and 6:13pm) from posters. When added together, they total 100 points, at which SBR takes a 1% fee (rake). Come September, the fee will be 1.5% and I think there's another one scheduled for January 1 to make it be 2%.

Correct, there is no fee charged for depositing/wd'ing from the point book.

Yeah sounds like he just didnt realize the point was taken away until he transferred into the book.

Yes. The tax is only charged for sending and receiving points to other posters.

Ok. I didn't understand why I was taxed a point. It was for receiving 100 points from other posters? I'm running a handicapping points contest for UFC 111. That's why people are transferring points to me. So I am taxed points for putting on a contest. That seems ridiculous.

There is a 1 pt fee for every 100 points transferred. It was started to put Mexi's book out of business, which it did successfully.
