Vegas ConVis, but from around a dozen years ago. Yet I doubt anything has much changed.
The biggest spenders, gambling etc, that visit Vegas from other countries are from -----------[drum roll] -------------
Mexico!
Right, they bet and spend with both hands when in Sin City. There is no legal casino gaming in Mexico (except briefly with some fairs operating) but Mexico City is reputedly home to a great number of underground casinos, catering to the wealthy. So the superrich paisanos know how to gamble.
The same land that sends all those desperately poor folk to crash our borders also has enough people with huge incomes that can blow big wads in Vegas and not even feel it.
The second richest man in the world, after Bill Gates, is the Mexican of Lebanese descent, Carlos Slim.
Many of Mexico's rejecteds have migrated to Vegas, and large parts of that city now look like Juarez or Tijuana.
Nevada used to belong to Mexico (as did most of the US Southwest). If it someday reverts to them- wise guys in Mexico call it La Reconquista, The Reconquest - they'll enjoy Vegas the most.
