Legalizing weed would be fatal to most growers and dealers.

i often said the real reason the government will never legalize pot is cause you could grow it in your own back yard. how would they regulate it? if they ain't making shitloads of money off it, it will remain illegal. but this one up for vote in Cali says you can grow it and possess up to an ounce.
let's get this shit down. think of how much more money the electric companies would make.

How would either of these put people out of work?
Wouldn't people that worked in the car industries/whatever that lost their job's resort to growing pot?
Wouldn't dumb broads resort to Prostitution instead of sitting at home doing fingerbanging themselves all day?

If weed was legal and everybody could grow it nobody would make much money doing it.

But not everybody would be growing it. And like someone said out in California, they are only allowed to grow a certain amount.

you would only be able to grow and keep an ounce. sounds like something obama and the big government people would love. a few thousand more feds to inspect individual homes for amount of pot.

legalizing prostitution would create jobs
all current whores would still be able to be whores in the new system, and the legalization of it would create other legit jobs catering to the new industry

Don't agree with this argument. People can grill their own burgers but they still go to McDonalds. Just because weed can be grown doesnt mean everyones going to start growing it. The government would make a ton of money if they legalized weed, but real change never happens in government so it probably won't happen.
Just making something legal does not necessarily mean the use of that product goes up. You really think there are that many people out there not smoking pot because its illegal? Pot is easy to get, cheap and a slap on the wrist if you're caught with it. People that want to smoke weed are smoking weed. Making it legal won't change much.

If with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

i can only humbly suggest as a former toker and reader of HT, that you do further research on mandatory sentencing and its effects on the prison population.

other than pimps losing jobs, i see the legalization of prostitution as nothing but wins. seriously, for those chicks that love dick so much but ain't getting paid for it now. you would know that poon is clean and disease free. they could have a 401K, the whole nine. police would have so much more time for real crimes instead of busting some 45 yr old white guy that just wants the blow job his cunt wife refuses to give.
who loses?
everybody parks, everybody wins!!

Caught selling it, or with a lot of it can hurt you, yeah, but with just a bit for personal use you're generally fine.
