You are right for 2 reasons:

1. Elite college teams are not nearly as good as they were 20 years ago because back then the best players stayed 3 years, not 1.

2. In a 1 and done situation the best team will almost never win any sport tourney unless the sport is football.

the last 3 yrs the top seeds dominated. it's because college freshman cant go to the NBA w/out being out of HS one yr. this yr is the exception not the rule for parity!
