Adopted a 2nd dog!

We have adopted another dog. We have been babysitting her sisters dog for over month, she reclaimed her dog now my dog is lonely. So we adopted another beagle to today. We will have her Saturday! The first picture is the beagle we have now, a 4 year old male. The 3 pictures after the first is our new female 4 year old beagle.

getting dogs from the shelter is the best way to go. I don't understand people spending >500+ for dogs when the shelters are packed with dogs that will be your best friend

I've always got my dogs from rescue shelters. It seems like they know how close they were to being put down. They were always extremely loyal.

But aren't adoption fees like $200 anyway. Aren't shots like over $100 as well?

Just wondering. I've seen cute puppies in mex for $5 each. Dude had a basket of them, and i almost bought 2, but ehh, couldn't do it.

It's just funny to me that people "adopt" pets now like ya do kids. When I was growin up ya just fed a stray & it was yours like it or not!

At most reputable shelters, the animals' shots are included with the adoption fees.

You take your new pet home with a clean bill of health.

Nice, that sounds cool. Maybe i'll go get a terrier or a chihuahua or a pug or something. I was at the dog track hoy, and i heard a lot of greyhounds barking in the out kennel. I'm sure i could get one of those or anybody could b4 they hang em. But i can't have a greyhound at the crib. My neighbor has a greyhound though, it is sikk.

Sometime the shelter and city have rebates to cover some of the fees.
