Please Help I do not understand Round Robin
I've read the other topics on this forum and searched the net but I still do not have a clue. I have used the calculator and still do not understand it.

I do not understand the terminology that is being used.

Can somebody simplify in "DUMMIES" terms.

    Here's an example: MMA:

    4 MATCHES:

    I picked the winners:
    -140
    +110
    -165
    -115

I enter $1 for the following bets:

    I select Round Robin's with 2's: $6.00 To Win $13.86

    2's & 3's: $10.00 To Win $33.82

    3's & 4's: $11.00 To Win $43.63

    3's: $4.00 To Win $19.97

    3's & 4's: $5.00 To Win $29.77

I do not understand this. What does this mean? I have to get 3 correct prediction's for 3's?

Somebody please clarify this in simple terms. Like how many predictions do I have to get right.

For example: 2's & 3's: $10.00 To Win $33.82. What would have to happen in my 4 predictions to get this.

If anyone can explain using my 4 predictions that would help.

    THANK YOU for your time.

There are 4 separate $1 parlay bets - each consisting of 3 teams/fighters etc: ABC, ACD, BCD, ABD.

In case you don't know, a parlay bet means you have to win all the individual bets to win the whole bet.

    My response is in bold.

      Thank you for your reply.

So how many parlay bets do I have to get right to win? For example I understand how 3's = 4 separate $1 bet. Would I have to get 3 right for 3's?

What about when 2 numbers are involved like 2's and 3's. How many PARLAYS do I have to get then? Since it turns into 10 parlays.

it depends on the odds of each individual parlay as99

since you used different odds for your four legs of the round robin each parlay will be a bit different.

you can plug the individual numbers in here....

Yes thanks, I understand that part. That odds are always different.

Now that I understand the terminology behind the bet. The only question I have is how many correct parlays do I need to win?

          For example 3's = 4 PARLAYS. For 2's & 3's = 10 PARLAYS.

How many do I need right to win?

The $ win amount you see displayed on the bookie's site is the maximum winnings if you win ALL your parlay bets.

In case of 3's, you have to get at least 3 selections right to win at least one parlay and if you get 4 right, you will win all four parlays.

Similar is the case for 2's and 3's: You get A and D right, you win one AD parlay and lose remaining 9. If you get A, B, D right you will win AB, AD, BD and ABD parlays and lose remaining 6.

If you want to know more, google permutation and combination.

well basically to make it simple for you.... if you don't have 3 teams win..... you're gonna lose alot

don't do round robins with 4 teams... you gotta hit 75% to make $
