Is It Easier To Win Points In Book Or Contests??

I think book mainly because in a contest you have to beat a lot of guys and enter a lot

Can you do more damge with 20 points in a the sbr book or playing two contests for 10 points each with like 14 guys in them.

I have never entered any SBR contests but I do play my points in the sportsbook.

Once the book opened, I'd say the interest in contests with a point postup went way down. Everyone can do better off unloading it all on one big game!

contests are good fun because u get to make alot of picks for a small entry fee. but yeah i beleive if ur gunna do good then u would make more in the sbr sportsbook.

The thing I like about contests is ego if you win, it feels good to beat like 25 guys but it is hard.

I think I won about 500 points or so in contests but probably invested a lot in them also

the book of course, but you bet big points on plays. As you know I join alot of contests, and have won alot of points from contests. I like them because it forces you to really handicap every game on the board and you may find an angle you would have overlooked otherwise to put some money & points on because that game was completely off your radar.

Plus the contests and challenges are fun for braggin rights. What pisses me off more than anything is newbies in their 10th post wanting to borrow 400 points. Borrow 30 & enter a couple contests & earn your points by gambling, that's what were here for.

in the book you have vig, in a contest you're on equal footing.

I'd say the book because that way you don't have to worry about meeting the minimum number of picks.

the book is good...the contests are good...ive done alright at both...they kinda work together in a way..if you throw all of your best picks at the contest...then throw your top 2-3 at the book...and just let it ride..it seems to work alright...g/l gents...out..

Book most definately. All though i only won 1 contest and that was guess the score. I was only 2 points off
