    THE SAME NUMBER!!!!!!!!!

Since there were 32 games played and we had no ties, the W/L record for the entire league is 32-32, so for every 2-0 team, there is an 0-2 team.

Teams are either thrilled or down in the dumps, no middle ground.

So...what 0-2 teams, and likely dogs in wk 3, are a lot better than their records show?

10 teams are 0-2 and 5 of them are favs this week(Phil,NYJ,NO,Oak,KC). This leaves 5 0-2 teams as dogs (NYG,Atl,StL,Buff,Miami). Of this bunch, I see the NY Giants with the most potential. They could pull the small upset at Wash this week and win as a home fav over Philly next week, getting back to .500

So for me, it's the "New York Football Giants".

You might have a good play there but what's the injury report for NY look like?

          Bill,

To be honest I didn't check the injury report because the NYG/Wash line isn't circled here. Also, there isn't much choice among the remaining 0-2 dogs, especially Buffalo a 17-point dog at NE. I think you have a good idea for a new thread: Which 0-2 team(s), all inclusive, will make the playoffs. In that case, I'll take N.O., a 4.5 fav over Tenn on Mon. The Saints can't be as bad as they've looked the first two weeks. Perhaps this is too obvious, but someone else may have a better "sleeper" on the other nine winless teams. It's a good take on your idea.

Wow, gutsy call! Last check, they are a 3.5 dog at TB this week and travel to Dallas next. 1-3 start at best, perhaps 0-4. Tough hole to climb out of IMO.

On SportsCenter on Monday, they had a stat:

Teams that start 2-0 make the playoffs right at 66% of the time.

Teams that start 0-2 make the playoffs about 12% of the time.

Since there are ten 0-2 teams, one or possibly two of them will make the playoffs.

                  HH,
I just don't see it. The Giants can't stop anybody. They hate their coach. Eli may be just one good blow to that shoulder from being out a long time. And they ain't gonna win nothin' with Lorenzen at QB.

To me the Giants seem like a team well on their way to a 4-12 or 5-11 kinda season.

Might be right, but I originally had to pick an 0-2 Dog and these were slim pickins'. I asked that if Bill opened the discussion to all 0-2 teams then I would be on New Orleans. Do you think the Saints can be one of the few, if any, 0-2 teams to make the playoffs. If not, who else is legit?
