College Refs on the take

We all know there are a few NBA refs, or at least were a few who were not on the up and up.

But there are HUNDREDS of college games a week and many more refs, are you telling me they are all legit?

When are we going to hear about a college ref fixing games, not ONE Donaghy in the whole bunch?!

This is the logical place for buying someone out should be, NBA is too high profile.

No disrespect to cornell at all since they showed that they can ball for sure but when I wathced that temple game in the first rd it seemed like any incedental contct the call was going their way and the temple guys were getting mugged underneath offensively and no calls at all. I'm the last one that bitches about officiating but that seemed odd to me.

you can't be serious can you , in college we only got $7 for breakfast, $10 for lunch, and $18 for supper and that's only on road game days, so 2 days at a total of $35 per day is $70 bucks and you only go on the road every so often and in basketball they would only leave the day of the game in most cases so they probably only get $15 to $20 for pre-game meal and the team buys subs or pizza for after the game. LOL, a few hundred per week as you put it, I didn't even get that much meal money when I played professionally.

Point shaving is a thing of the past. The new gig now is underdog team (players) tanking the game period where they will get blown out and teasers won't even cover. Great example is the UState game versus A&M. No need for ref when this happens.
