I think whoever drafts Andy Rautins from Syracuse will get themselves a player who will be in the NBA for at least a handful of years.

The guy is like a Joakim Noah type player, who does a little bit of everything.

Rautins is certainly worth a pick in the 2nd round and whoever takes him will be pleased.

    Thoughts?

I hear ya, but you can't teach, or hustle out those extra 6 inches... Noah, is who he is...because he does alot of things AND is 6'11... and that is rare...

Rautins is slower, whiter, and skinnier than alot of other 2 gaurds in the draft...... and most 2 gaurds can do it all too...

i'm just not sure his game translates to the NBA

If NBA doesn't pan out for him then I'm sure he will have a great career overseas.

for sure he can make a decent living for a handful of years SOMEWHERE..... I just don't think he'll be okay without a degree to fall back on......

I agree hes a steal in the 2nd round.

                    BUT

Joakim Noah, ones a 6'11 rebounder the other is a 6'4 shooting guard.

John Wall is the next Shaq

                          LOL....

I see Wall being a Lamar Odom type. And Demarcus Cousins to be a Chris Paul type player.

I think he'll work out OK.............displayed very good work ethic for 'Cuse. Noah had a start on being a problem last year when he was "suspended" for a game...............by his teammates, pretty unheard of.

He is someone that has gotten better every year. He is a workaholic and knows what it takes to play in the NBA. He has been playing for the Canadian National team for 3 years now and has played against some of the best competition in the world.

The kid wants nothing more than to succeed, get better, and do what he can to help the team win. He is a hustler, a gym rat and comes from a good pedigree. I see him being a decent guy off the bench in the NBA, if he wants to go over seas and play he would definitely work out there but more likely he would stay on this side of the pond and start coaching.
