For once, I agree with JJ.
Visually and functionally it is more or less the same as Vista (there are a few added features but nothing earth shattering).
It is however much more system friendly than Vista was and is much easier on CPU/memory use.

It's a little prettyier, but I found Windows XP to be more functional (and have less crashes).

It's just a better version of Vista - if you have Vista, I think its worth the upgrade. If you have XP and its working fine for you, I wouldn't bother with upgrading until you get a new computer.

i don't have it, won't be buying it without upgrading PC's, seems stupid otherwise, new PC's will have it loaded on there. So maybe this summer or something.

buy a new computer for $500-800 with windows 7 and you won't be disappointed.
quite similar to a $2000 mac without the price tag.

I would rather buy a $2000 mac than a $500 pc.....you cant compare these two at all.

When it comes to Windows 7, I would rather stick to XP than upgrading to Win 7.

I just picked up a nice laptop for browsing.

320 after tax at walmart...it was on slickdeals a couple weeks ago.

Has windows 7, and it's pretty nice, this computer boots up and browses pretty good for a cheap laptop.

I think the consensus is if you have a computer that already has windows XP, just stick with that. Windows 7 is clearly better then Vista.
