OT: big day tomorrow on the street
what is the fed going to do. i think they'll cut 0.25. but there are rumors going around saying they won't cut at all. in that case, expect a big drop.

Even if you can correctly predict whether they will lower rates or not, and by how much, you never know how "The Street" will react. It also depends upon that accompanying gibberish they put out.

Economic aqueeze play juggling act coming to a head?

The government and federal reserve can really string things out as to when the shit hits the fan with the economy. All the tweeking in the world can no longer delay the ultimate crash though.

Here is where we are at with the national debt, personal debt, shrunken dollar, baby boomers hitting retirement, entitlement crowd never paying in what they took out,,,,You have the Yankees -1.5 +140 and the under is 11.5 -105 on your parlay and it's Red Sox 5,Yankees 4.It's over for you just like it is for our economy. You can see already how when the government encouraged house buying by having a glut of money ''loans''available to anyone working at a 7-11 it was an artificial stimulant to boost the economy that crapped out.The government and fed are in a squeeze where there are negative repurcussions no matter what they do.It's like the parlay that I mentioned above where you are stuck in the middle and have no where to go.When they lose their form of a parlay they just go and print some more money to place another bet.

Look at how dumb the union blue collar crowd is these days. They think they have the world by the ass because steel is selling and they have a stable job situation because the dollar is so devalued that foreign interests are buying and investing in things like our steel industry.Their wages really haven't gone up but gas might be $4 a gallon soon and they are more than happy to send their little slut off to some backwash college to obtain a fluff degree at 15K a year tuition. Then the blue collar crowd hates Bush but Bush is their best friend by shrinking the dollar so what they produce is sought after not caring that a whole segment of society suffers because of it.

Then take a survey of what top wage earning women do between the ages of 25-50.They all work in healthcare taking care of hypochondriacs on entitlement programs where for every million dollars spent you could honestly justify that 75 K of it was actually needed to be spent. You have just created another government makework program industry. In many instances the government ''tax payer'' would be better off telling people in the healthcare industry that they will buy them out for a one time tax free payoff of 100K if they never, ever work in any capacity at a job directly or indirectly for the government.

Do you think it might have been a good idea to stay on the gold standard way back when to have something backing the dollar where you couldn't just print money like it was a board game. They say that just in pentagon spending over the last few years there are 3 trillion unacountable dollars.

They said that on a few occassions this last year that UPS size trucks or bigger at the fed loaded up chock full of $20's and 100's headed to Iraq and no one can say exactly what happened to a good share of the money. And guess what, they loaded up the trucks on a Sunday afternoon so the peon tax payers couldn't see it take place. It's a free for all and if you are an honest and law abiding wage slave in this country all you can hope for is a crash so all the crooks can see what their actions caused and hopefully they weren't smart enough to hedge against the dollar and go broke too. This is all coming from a guy that voted republican and still would never vote for a democrat who now thinks the only republican worth voting for is Ron Paul who's really a libertarian.
