May I ask a computer question
My desk top downstairs goes dim when I log in to
SBR. This is new and only started happening the past
week or so. Naturally, when dim it is uselss and I
cannot navigate in the site. My laptop upstairs on the
same wireless connection has no problem with the site.
I already tried restore to no avail. Is this a computer problem'
and what can I do. Oh, I have no problems with any
other site, everything else working normally.

    Any thoughts?

Bradley: First of all, nice job on the contest. Very good my friend. I will be watching you? (lol)

Wouldn't that then be on all other sites if it is a monitor
problem? Every other site works well,

Oh, and thanks for the reply.

Hmm..... Have you tried accessing the site on a different web browser like Firefox, and have you tried re-installing your current web browser?

Crazy: No, I haven't and I do have firefox. I will try that and get back to you. Never even thought of it. But, why this would even happen in the first place is a mystery. I have been using that desk top for years at SBR. At first, I thought maybe I was banned. haha

          Thank you

            Crazy

Firefox worked thank you. I was first asked to click on US customers only and now it is ok. Funny, I wonder what is up with that? IE always worked up until a few days ago.
And it still works on my lap top.

Sweet, glad to hear it works. I love Firefox, it even has a built in spell check that automatically underlines a misspelled word. They had the tabbing feature before IE and they ripped them off.

You could try "clearing the cache" in IE. Just a suggestion, I'm fairly "into" technology but obviously cannot diagnose this without physically looking at it.

Crazy: Thank you, I am happy again. I will need to get used to FF. My son swears by it but I am so used to IE. Well FF downstairs and IE upstairs.

Betplom: Thank you too, I might try that also.

This is definitely not a problem with your monitor and is most likely a result of the US/Non-US "splash page" we have implemented on the front page of SportsBookReview.com. We're looking into why some users experience this problem on occasion and hope to have any potential browser conflicts corrected ASAP.

Thank you, as I mentioned it is working with FF.
