Yes, I have denied it for years but this is a problem. Big problem. I gamble 365 days a year and I am only 20. I can always say no and not lose control but I fear that is the next step in this addiction. I finally realized it today. Let's flash back to midnight (Sat night). I arrive to play cards in a sick action $1/$2 game. I buy in for $300 and eventually have $1,100 in front of me. Throughout the game I am taking side action on props. I bet with four other guys for $5 a pop on which card hits the flop. I take a 9. Everytime the 9 comes I get paid $5 from the 3 others. If one of their cards hit I pay them. If the 9 comes in the middle you get an additional $5. If my 9 is a club I get an additional $5. During this I am also taking $10 per hand on whether more red or black cards will come on the flop. If it is all red or all black that is an additional $20.
I also take side action $20 on o/u what time it was, $10 on o/u the age of the guy next to me, then it gets sick when I book the room on over 160 pounds for the delivery guy who we ordered food from. 7 people took over and 1 took under with me. The guy showed up at the door and had to be 120 soaking wet. They conceded defeat and didn't force him to weigh. I cash out $850 at 5:00 AM. I go to the diner with a few guys, come home at 7:00 and place some bets for the morning soccer. Sleep through those and set the alarm for 12:00 so I can be up for the Cuse game. Bet all day CBB, NHL, and NBA. Bet the UFC fight etc. I go to play cards again in an $80 tournament they were holding. I bust on the bubble and lose 2 other buyins for staking my brother and my friend.
I drive them home and go back and play the cash game. As I wait for a seat me and the guy running the game play $50 games of UNO. Finally I get a seat and I buy in for $300 again and bust relativley quickly. I go to have a cig and come back in to see some dice being rolled. I immediatley want in as does another big bettor. We shoot dice and start with $50 a roll. I go up a bit and all of a sudden there is a circle and everyone is taking action. $40 on the 4 or bettor, $100 to $20 on the six, shit is getting exciting and the poker game is even breaking to take action. Eventually I am down to my last $300 I brought and decide this guy has beat me 4 rolls in a row so I take a $300 roll with him. He rolls 4, I roll 3. The ride home I am not really upset or crushed that I lost but just thinking about other things I can do. I blew off my girlfriend two nights in a row too gamble and while she doesn't get crazy about it I know it upsets her.
Overall, I won't stop gambling but I need to pump the breaks. Sorry for posting this here but I had to vent and hopefully you guys can help me with some tricks that keep you guys from losing your heads.
On a side note, JJ this was at that firehouse in Belville I told you about. If you want to make a gambling video of sick ****s that is the place to do it.
