The Lakers are just amazingly bad ATS. Even when they get a 26-point lead against one of the worst teams in the league they STILL can't cover.

I know it's a regular season game and there are no style points and such but the Lakers bench is going to kill them in the playoffs.

I quit betting the Lakers ATS long ago. But I'll still occasionly make a play on them in the first half ATS. That seems to be the best bet when the Lakers are home.

Bob how do you feel about us going into the playoffs? I know you dont like the bench but what you think about artest instead of ariza?

I hate to say it but I think the Lakers made a mistake letting Ariza go. I'm not sure how you feel but I think it's more of a chemistry issue. If they don't start getting some producton off the bench, I could see them knocked out by Denver if not before.

What's your take?

Im not concerned about denver but i think artest was a move just to guard melo and lebron- nothing else. I still think we are in the finals easily and will have our hands full when we get there.

I always see the Lakers slack off against shitty teams. For big spreads you need a team that doesnt let off...

Teams like Atlanta, OKC, Cleveland. All 3 of those teams would have put the Wizards away in the 2nd half.
