have to see the pleadings, and whether they were all based on civil rights claims under federal law, or whether some state law excessive force/intentional battery type causes of action, perhaps even garden variety negligence/gross negligence, were involved....

plus, cali is a very liberal state.... courts still very accepting of and friendly toward creative, pro-plaintiff causes of action..... tort reform hasn't overwhelmed cali like it has a lot of the rest of the nation.....

The only thing weird I have noticed about my neighbors is late at night, let's say 3 or so in the morning, their garage door is open and the light is on. I think nothing of it though I just assume he was smoking some marijuana. not really sure
