I was just reading about this late last night in this thread sir. However, nobody here knew much on this subject.

I know its rigged. I play a lot at casinos and the ratio of playable hands i get in online poker is so much higher that i am certain it is rigged.

I'm waiting to see what Mike from PRR has to say on this particular subject.

Dude was back playing this morning, getting his ass kicked in the process, calling river bets with 5 high and all others sort of BS. Could be dumping to get the money out or Absolute knows they are F-U-C-K-E-D and are trying to save face now.

The big rumor is that the accounts are Mark Seif (never good to trust gossip, but when the original claim that came out about suspicious activity surrounding Seif back in FEB 2006 - EIGHTEEN MONTHS AGO), it sure seems like the dots are connecting now.

                No surprise.

I also read that. There was even witness descriptions of observed play....where Mark was folding when he didn't have to and pulling other rabbits out of his hat. Seems at this point even if it's not true, the damage to Absolute is done....

Has the guy responded to the allegations?

The guy is a lawyer. I don't even want to hear his response, the evidence is damning. Way too obvious for anybody with a general knowledge of poker along the overflow of statistical evidence.

Every poker site has vulnerabilities. I will say that the site's security team needs to step up and handle the problem, but I won't say it's insane to continue playing there. This problem isn't unique to Absolute, while that doesn't mean it's wide spread, it's certainly not an isolated incident on one site. You just don't hear about it really going on because it's rare that they're caught so red handed.

I play a ton online, never played at AB, never played at planet poker years ago when they were also found out to be crooked.

It didn't ruin the industry then, just made others stronger.

know the story from what i read the last couple weeks, seems some sort of audit\investigation is about to happen.

There scumbags hope they go the way of the dinasour, probably will now.apparently the story goes all the way back to the kanawakee gaming reservation where one of the player's in question I.P was found to be.

Histerical thing bout the whole story is that it only came out cause the player who came 2nd in a tourney with "potripper"(PLAYER IN QUESTION), asked to see hand history of the table and instead they(A.B)e-mailed him a file of the whole tourney, he thought nothing of it, then mentioned it in a blog or something,he then gave it over to others who knew how to read it, and presto here we are.

In my opinion just another bump in the online poker world, as was planet, neteller, party, us gov, etc, etc.

As i write this i'm playing at stars and there are 80k players.
seems about right, but i suppose only time will tell.

In regards to MARK SEIF, he's a Scumbag believe me when i tell you i know, he beat a friend of mine out of big money, even after making multiple big scores never gave it back.

A real no good mother fu ker, wouldn't surprise me a bit if he was implicated in this fiasco.

The moderators at 2+2 publishing have thretened to have any members banned if they talk of conspiracy theory's rigged flops or anything along those lines when it comes to A.B or any other online room.

I play at Absolute almost everyday. Luckily I don't play $1000 SnGs... If you play mid to low, I think you are safe.

2+2 is a joke. You think some of the guys here are immature, it's like an 11th grade convention over there, mods included.
