#5I have 2 brackets that have N. Iowa beating Kansas... I didn't really believe it so my main bracket doesn't have it.
When I was concentrating on team stats via Away games N Iowa shot up the ranks and showed they would beat out Kansas, but I just couldn't really believe this as so many others claimed Kansas was really good, however of my final 4 Kansas was always my lowest ranked no matter how I looked at the stats.Comment -

#15Yep. Thought I was going to have a chance after being in the top 1,000, but I'm done too. Good luck to the sharp guys here who dodged this trap. Would be awesome if an SBR member won!Comment -

#17just because you lose your champ doesnt mean you lose the pool. The reality that this thread speaks to is MOST people have kansas. I still have baylor k st and wvu alive. Plus unique picks (cornell to the elite eight like i have) will help make up this diff. LONG way left to goComment -

#31Unless you are playing in a kiddie pool, picking the champ can bring someone from 20 places behind you ahead of you. In most real pools you can make more picking the champion than you can picking 31 of 32 in the first round. No way you should win without picking a champion. Bad model if you do.Comment -
