yeah man i hear ya.

i tried going to the only open american express travelers store in NJ today to try and charge traveler's checks on my amex (then was going to cash them). got there and found out that it was blocked and i couldnt buy traveler's checks. too bad, i have a 25k limit. can't gamble with amex, and i'm not going to totally deplete my checking account or retirement savings account. so i decided i am not betting today.
