Do not send a moneygram deposit online. I sent one over an hour ago and still do not have a reference #. Been on hold for 23 minutes now listening to the worst music to punish me with.

I hear ya... moneygram is not reliable online... takes up to 2 hours and thats IF they approve it... 95% of the time it will be declined and you will be advised to goto an agent with cash.

Western Union is better to use online, if you have to use 1 of the 2

First time i have ever done it online and will not use that method again.

I have been through the same thing trying to send Moneygram online. It takes longer and they will do a lot more to question the transaction. The transfer will usually sit there until you call them.

Have to advise only sending Moneygram's in person. Not as convenient, but I've never had any problems that way.
