    Personal Loan Questions?
So SBR came to my rescue yesterday after I posted the Craigslist ad scam and now I need some more help. Any idea where soembody with bad credit like myself can get a personal loan? In the process of fixing my credit now but it takes a little time. I tried to tap into my equity but I can't even do that since I have bad credit, lol The loan I'm looking for is $20K to pay off my bills. Please enjoy this picture of Bud Bundy.

You might have better luck if you had a picture of a hot half naked girl.

I got an email yesterday from this dude named Akbar in Africa. He said he had 30 million of unclaimed money and all he needs is your bank account info so he can transfer you the cash. Sounds pretty legit let me know if you want his email.

No problem, worked with people in financing before and have refinanced loans for 3 vehicles in the last 3 years. ( you get better deals if you finance through the dealership, then you go to a CU a month later and get a better interest rate.)

I was gonna suggest a peer to peer loan. Lending club or prosper. I invest in these and they are pretty legit. Got a few $100 bonus cash if someone wants to deposit btw. You can get a solid loan with no cosigner too, I see rates from low 8% all the way to 21% depending on credit and amount borrowed.

20k is a pretty big personal loan though. Was your cosigner very wealthy? About 2 years ago when i wasnt too good financially and was looking to purchase a new car; i was asking my mom to apply for a 10k personal loan at Bank Of America(8%) vs the 10% id be paying to finance a older vehicle(2002). She has decent credit but got declined on the loan( provided she had over 50k in her savings account there). With this economy im very surprised you even got approved. I told you what u needed to do to get the loan at a bank but didnt think ti wud even come close to getting approved.

I was going to try these two sites but they require good credit which I don't have. I signed up at wikiloans but there is not alot of traffic at that site.

My cosigner makes decent money but is not rich by any means. The bank we did the loan through had a long relationship with her. BTW I only got $12K which was fine for me but still need another $8K to finish off the rest of my credit cards. I can't believe banks are so tight right now. The economy is going to stay flat for a while because nobody can get approved for anything.

i dont know alot about this but i mean if you owe on credit cards the interest is just crazy, its a great idea to get a loan and pay that back at a much more reasonable interest rate i would think

There are legitimate companies that will negotiate your credit card debt, and can offer you a lower rate on a lower balance. Watch the terms closely however - half these companies are scams themselves, and one missed/late and you will find yourself in even more debt. You are often penalized for early payments as well.

For the $8K remaining - consider transferring your balance to a new card with a low introductory rate. Many companies will offer you three or six months at a low introductory rate if you transfer your whole balance to their card. I don't know how damaged your credit is - obviously the worse it is, the less likely you will have such offers.

Sounds like your off to the right start though - paying off credit cards through bank loans can offer you a much better rate and chance at eventually breaking free of credit card debt.
