There was one Alabama game, Verne called both teams by the wrong names more than once, called the players name from other teams....seriously either sounded drunk or like he was having a stroke on air.

BadNina, you and I see the other side of Verne every Saturday. I dont remember what game it was but I was seriously pissed off and contemplated sending CBS a mass amount of letters about him. I dont care for him or his football counterpart. I almost would rather the night time ESPN games with Bob Davie than have Verne
