I was looking for a personal loan and I came across this ad on craigslist. Does this look legit?

Ask yourself this. If you can get a loan with a complete stranger from craigslist-----why couldn't you get a loan from a bank?

The answer is you can't.

The only outcome I can see from that ad is all bad.

Yes it is a scam usually if they had a legit business they would have a business lending.If they really wanted to make money they should open a payday loan shop those fukers are allowed to charge %400 on loans dont take it and never hand over your personal info to people you know arent certified.

If it's on craigslist, it has to be legit.

yes/ they will give u a fake check or money order, then u cash it and they will ask for some of the money, soon after bank catches it and they come after u for the money, quick way to get a judgement and a possible check fraud case...

This scam was featured on our local tv many times. Don't do it. You will be prosecuted and escorted to county jail.

They aired a Buccos spring training game a week or so back and I figured I would watch it since I hadn't got to see them play yet and they managed to amaze me in their first game (keep in mind it takes a lot for this club to amaze me because I have watched them for years) when the 2nd baseball, shortstop, and 3rd basemen all had errors in the same inning and to top it off the pitcher bobbled the last ball and almost committed an error as well, it was impressive to say the least.
