We went around on this last year after the NE-SD playoff game. I still think LT was in his right to voice his opinion, albeit an emotionally charged one. No need for those antics after the game.

I had no problem with LT mouthing off after the game. Shows he's out to win and not just playing for the cash. Take Tiki Barber. Shaking hands and laughing seconds after his final game when they lost to the Eagles in the final seconds.

But acting like a sore loser a year later makes him look bad. Just go out and beat the Pats if you really are the better team. But with Norv at the helm.....good luck.

I think you're making a valid point in general about players, but I'm not sure it totally applies in this case. The comments LT made after the game we both can agree on being made, that's certainly understandable. Now a year later he is questioned going into another match with this same football team, but this time after the spying incident breaks out.

I respect LT for calling a spade a spade, especially since he's not some media analyst just throwing the Pats under the bus, he's a player who has been saying this before it was popular to do so. It's arguable that he could have simply not commented on the matter, but not doing so doesn't cast him in a bad or disingenuous light in my opinion.

Have recent events validated LT's earlier suspicions about Belichick? Of course they have.
