NCAA Tourney Player Draft Fantasy League
what's up guys? I just got back from my annual player draft for the NCAA tourney. My buddies and I have done this for about 10 years now. Basically, we have about 20 guys who each throw in $100 and you draft players in the tourney. Obviously the strategy is not only picking a player, but how many games they will play. You get their total points, rebounds and assists for as many games as they play. Fantasy football is fun but this takes the cake for me. Each guy drafts 8 playes so you usually end up with players from various teams in the tourney. You have to strategize whether you take the 7th man for a one seed who may get 6 games or if you take a real gunner from a lower seed. Either way, it makes the games even more exciting. We are fortunate enough to have a tech guy who pulls the stats from a website real time which is web accessible. This gives us real time scoring throughout the tourney. Just wanted to pass this along to you guys as it is really fun. Just so you know, John Wall was the first pick taken in this year's draft! I hope Kentucky goes down early. For me, I was able to grab a few Syracuse guys with my first two picks. Enjoy the tourney guys!

This is actually a great idea. Have never heard of this, but if I remember, I'll def try to get a thing like this going for next years tourney.

Trust me guys, this definitely makes the tournament so much fun as all the guys get together and start crossing off players as they lose. You eventually find yourself rooting for players and not teams!!
