Question for SBR "The Wizard" JOHN on the SBR Sportsbook
John, since it's inception, how many pts has the SBR Sportsbook won?

Or, an average, how much has it won from us lousy sportsbettors on a daily basis?

How much volume in an average day does the book recieve?

    Thanks,
    FH

I will always lose my points in the book, as I scalp out all my points for cash.

The only way I will be able to beat the SBR book is to go on streak of 12 straight or so wins, which I guess will happen eventually.

I won close to 5,000 before I opted out. If you keep winning you eventually get shown the door.

I don't know. But I think the sportsbook is fine now after a rough start. Games were staying on the board after they were over and things like that. SBR didn't win many of those. Plus there have been a few huge parlay winners. Of course no one has had their limits lowered, deal dual lines or forced to call in their bets or any other typical risks controls used by most books. You can get away with mistakes when you have a lot of risk controls and chase sharps. None of that is an option so the SBR needs to be sharp and get much sharper.

I call a big bullshit there Pavy. You wanted to feel part of the goofball group that does not get points because they are on post review, banned or otherwise moderated. You asked to be taken off the points. Maybe thats what you call "shown the door"?? uhh ok. You're so sharp you showed yourself the door? ...

Ask your points book manager how many points your book payed me. It's OK because before my soccer bets were secret. Now I post my soccer bets every weekend and your book is being burned by hundreds of posters who tail my picks and beat up your slow moving lines.

pavy, what he's saying is that no one was booted from the SBR Book for winning.

I won about 4,000 last year and was not shown any door.

I know I was just messing with him hence the sarcastic smiley. He is correct I asked him to remove me from points program but I did it to help save points from the 1% tax. It was a good will gesture on my part to help save some points for the book in these tough times where taxes need to be raised to make the program viable. Many need to do the same voluntarily to help save the points program.

I think SBR's book is getting better everytime I decide to use it.

There are some guys that have done quite well, nobody's been placed on a delay.

Overall the book is doing well, eliminating live betting (feed delays proved to be insurmountable) was a necessary step. Any losses generated by the book allow more points to go into contests and provides more opportunity to win merchandise & SBR Store freebies. It also allows posters to test out betting systems w/ points vs cash.
