If the cub players are having doubts about whether Jake hit the medicine chest that could explain why they're playing like shit. I remember when bully beane made one trade too many dealing Cespedes the heart and soul of that A's team which had best record in baseball. Locker room was like a wake the next day and from the best record they had the worst, the actual worst, the rest of the way. Chemistry looms huge in baseball

#2I hear what your saying, I think they might be better off not being the straight up favorite to win the WS. Let people start to doubt them. That's always good for chemistry.Comment -

#3Right now one of the biggest problems of course is pitching in second is the manager he's too oldComment -

#4Dexter fowler is key to this team. I've said that for a while. They need him back. He sets lineup. Stay away from them until he gets backComment -

#5cubs are like the dodgers of 2, 3, 4 years ago. you cant buy chemistry - cant buy a bunch of free agents, throw them on a team, and expect a championship. that's not how baseball works.
cubs tried to buy a championship team this offseason, not build one. i doubt it happens.Comment -

#6People are over reacting to their cold stretch as much as people over reacted to their hot stretch.
they still win 93-103 games.

#10was at game friday night and noticed early on the bucs were hitting him hard. even most of the outs were balls they made solid contact. i watched this guy absolute dominate the pirates the last 3 seasons, going 41 innings and giving up like one earned run? then gets lit up for 6 ER and blows a one run lead late? last year or even in May of this year, that game would have been over at that point.
guy either juiced or some of the most terrible luck and timing of all time.
doesn't every mlb pitcher add 2-3 mph on their fastball from age 24 to 30?Comment -
