Anybody have gambling site blocked on wifi?

A few years ago someone had their access to SBR blocked at Panera, and wrote about workarounds for this. The thread is here:

I was just wondering if anyone has recently experienced having a gambling site blocked by some kind of filter at a public wifi like a coffee shop, library, or airport.

just about everywhere I go. I took my grandmother to the doctor the other day & was gonna sit in the car & do some cappin & I couldn't get shit that had to do with sports gaming. Pissed me off!. Did give me time to read some stuff on team home pages, things like that but no SBR, vegas insider, covers

I remember having some sites blocked when I used Wi-Fi at Sullivan Tire while I waited for my car's service. Will have to try Panera soon and see how it goes.

All hospitals block it I know for sure. I was in Labor Delivery room trying it but couldn't even sign on to SBR with the hospital wifi

I was in Las Vegas last month and wanted to place a large bet online. We were walking around and lost track of time and I had about 10 minutes before the game started. After frantically looking for an internet terminal at the Monte Carlo I come across one in the shopping promonade. $5 to start, fine, whatever. I was waiting for this game all day to get me back to even for the trip. Put my $5 in and go to log in to my online account. "This site has been blocked by WEBSENSE. Filter: GAMBLING" R U FKIN KIDDING ME? I'm in a casino in Las Vegas, the only place gambling is legal and they block a gambling website. Needless to say the game one easily and I lost the next bets I got in. Figures.

the ip at the library has creditwagering.com/stiffs blocked as i was visiting it 10x a day and someone finally complained thinking the kids would be scared that the sexual registry offender list was always being displayed

I am VERY hesitant to log-in publicly due to potential problems related to multiple users under same IP...not so much for SBR but Books
